Wednesday, April 27, 2005No semblance of a proper living... Song of the moment: Rie Tanaka - Fields of Hope (Gundam SEED Destiny Insert Song) konna ni tsumetai tobari no fukaku de anata wa hitori de nemutteru inori no utagoe sabishii nohara wo chiisa na hikari ga terashiteta anata no yume wo miteta kodomo no you ni waratteta natsukashiku mada tooku sore wa mirai no yakusoku (Beneath a veil so cold, You deeply sleep, all alone The melody of prayer; on the lonely fields, a little light shined I watched as you dreamed You laughed like a child So dear, and yet so far - That is the promise of our future) Fields of Hope by Rie Tanaka Hope you people out there are enjoying your freedom in the wilderness of Singapore because we P6 (Full-Time Semestral Project) students from MIT0312 are stuck in a glass encased room for 9 1/2 hours every weekday and is at the mercy of our project supervisors. Especially since my 'cage' is conveniently located next to the 'Hall of Innovation' where our schools 'projects' are displayed for visitors and VIPs to browse through. Thus, no food, games, irrelevant reading material, music players nor any kind of 'meditation' (you should know what I mean...) is allowed. This is a very large contrast when compared to the other end of the building, where SJ pretty much enjoys free reign of his lab (grrr...). Well, it could be worse...my partner isn't as high level a character as Gary is (my classmates should know what I mean...) however I just found out today that actually what I initially thought was a group project is actually still an individual project so keep me in your prayers', people. To give you a brief overview of my project, basically I am supposed to create a JAVA program which allows you to draw loops, is able to save the XY coordinates of each point in the loop and eventually, it should be able to test the hand-eye(?) coordination of a Parkinson's Disease patient. Please pray to God that I'll be able to finish within the 12 week time-frame which I am given. Anyways, on to happier things...I've finally completed my ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam and below is a real nice picture of it... ![]() (Click for larger pic) I also found out from Melvin about something which shouldn't really concern me but it still does put my heart at ease...so Praise the Lord and AMEN! My mom has been asking me to stay at SKMC long term (again) and I am still thinking and praying about it. It's more or less confirmed that I'll at least go back to HKMC once the 40 DOP is over. Only time will tell which Church I'll stay at eventually... |
