The (Possible) Disappearance of Anthony Chia

The (Possible) Disappearance of Anthony Chia

Song of the moment: Aya Hirano - Super Driver (Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu S2 OP theme)

I've managed to peel myself away from my games and studies for awhile so as to be able to type this post (Currently in my management lecture which is slowly but surely melting my brain...). My bad habit of procrastinating and doing last minute work still exists. I do try not to let it affect my work, which of course leads to more time spent on work and less sleep for me.

Zzzz...

Anyways, the new anime season is upon us...again. Thus, I shall once again list a few of the anime I am likely to be watching...

Upcoming Anime Highlights

Kampfer - I somewhat enjoyed Sekirei a couple of seasons ago. Of course, the bishoujo battle/comedy concept is not exactly very original but I do have a certain amount of expectation for this anime. Mainly because of Marina Inoue, Nana Mizuki, Marina Inoue, Yui Horie and Marina Inoue...

Tatakau Shisho: The Book of Bantorra - Being a big fan of Toshokan Sensou, its more or less a given that I'll watch this. Well, the premise and plot is understandably quite different from Toshokan Sensou but Books and Fighting is another Moe for me...

To Aru Kagaku no Railgun
- I lost interest in Index early in the series as I felt it was getting somewhat draggy and cliche. I am hoping that minimal prior knowledge of the original series is required as Mikoto's probably my favourite character in the series (Just like Hinagiku as DKellis points out...perhaps I have a thing for this particular type of girls...).

Tegami Bachi
- I saw the Chuang Yi version of the manga in Comics Connection but the synopsis didn't really appeal to me. I did read the first volume on OneManga.com and it is mildly interesting. The main appeal for me once again is the seiyu (Jun Fukuyama and Ami Koshimizu) even though neither of them are the leads. Miyuki Sawashiro and Ayumi Fujimura do make an interesting pair as the male and female lead so I am willing to see where it goes...

Inuyasha: The Final Act - This is pretty much a given considering I can (legally) watch it off Animax, albeit a same-week telecast as opposed to Tears to Tiara's "live" broadcast. I tried following the manga but I guess it was a bit too much for me. As long as I get to see more Miroku/Sango, I am fine...

Kobato. - Another CLAMP product. I am happy that Madhouse will be producing it, unlike the Bee Train trainwreck (no pun intended) that the Tsubasa series was. I will miss Yuki Kajiura'a music though...

Kiddy Girl-and - Long delayed sequel to Kiddy Grade. While Kiddy Grade wasn't the most engaging of series, the plot twist and fight scenes made the series watchable. Minori Chihara is singing the ED theme too, so I'll likely follow it...

Undecided

Nyan Koi!, Seitokai no Ichizon, Seiken no Blacksmith, Natsu no Arashi! 2 (If I ever get to watching Season One), Fairy Tail

I am still working with DKellis and Matafleur to get Animenauts.com (Yes, that's the name of the blog) up and running. Hoping to get it up before end of October. Will keep you guys updated...
