Let's hope that this New Year will not only be better than the last but also hold new learning experiences for us all. Spent New Year's Eve on duty in camp. I am not realy one who actually bothers with the countdown etc and the fact that I was on prowling duty on 3 and 5am led me and Ying Xiang to go to sleep early...only to be woken up at 12 midnight by BK, Ho et al. Not that it was unexpected but being woken up again 15 minutes later by Ho irritated me a little. Went to watch Death Note 2: The Last Name with BK and Desmond. According to Desmond, he's really leading a tough life in APC with the seniors playing the 'old bird, new bird' game very seriously. A contrast to the life me and BK are leading back in Seletar camp... ^_^ Anyways, the movie was pretty good and did a good job closing up all the loose ends in the movie storyline. What bugged me however, was the technical difficulties they had when the movie started playing. No movie trailers were shown (boo!) which at first lead me to believe we were in the wrong theatre. Then when the movie finally started, it skipped passed the first few minutes and had no sound at all. When they stopped and restarted the movie again, we watched a minute or so worth of the movie in 'half-screen' (as in they only showed the bottom half of the scene...boo!!). Although GV compensated by giving all the patrons in that theatre a complimentary movie pass, it cost me to miss the last bus home and I had to take a taxi back, which negated the price of the complimentary movie pass. (Bleah!) 2007, a time for new starts and new beginnings...hopefully...

Beginning of something new...
